2014 Ted Antoff Scholarship Applications

The Operating Engineers, Local 148 Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications for the 2014 Scholarship Program. A $1,000 scholarship shall be awarded as first prize, and a $500 scholarship awarded as second prize. The deadline for receiving the essays in connection with the Scholarship Awards is Friday, March 15th , 2014. All essays MUST be POST MARKED ON OR BEFORE MARCH 15th 2014 to qualify for consideration.

We have to be involved - With many Illinois and Missouri municipal elections coming up in 2014 it is imperative that the members of IUOE Local 148 get involved during the election process and get out to vote for the candidate which the membership supports. Of course that means that every member of the unit needs to VOTE!
